Pic 10 - Titled A painting

If a picture paints a thousand words, then why can't I paint you? ~ Bread

A change for the potraits section. Recent posts of takes on potraits of people with different cultures works well too.

At least a break from the influx of amateurish, voyeurish, snapshots of female models probably picked off the streets and uploaded here.

Hi liarliar, thanks for dropping by. Hope you like what you see here.

This is awesome. I am yet to see poetry and photography in this forum. Has there been one around here? :)

Hi Krissears, glad you liked the pics. I shall oblige you with one (poetry and photography). See pic 11. The poem was written by myself 9 years ago.

If they knew
when to keep quiet
when not to cry

I like work, it fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours ~ Jerome K. Jerome (writer of Three men in a boat)

Like your style. Sharp IQ, good aperture control, framing/cropping, nice clean shot with meaningful and relevant caption! Swee!

Hi Melvyn, Pic 10 is an oil painting I did years back. The original title of the painting is "Girl with dying tulip". Took a pic of it, which naturally would be 2D. Did up the colours on PP. Lasso to select the subject I want to be on focus.. then add blur to the rest of the pic to give it "Bokeh".. and thus hopefully a photo feel. On second thought.. perhaps I should retain the original title of the pic.
