Questions on Digi-Cabi

I bought AD-60 2 weeks ago, followed the manual instruction before putting in equipment. The reading is now 43% (1 o'clock) for about a week. But the green light is still lighted up. I've not seen it turn off before. Is it normal?

the green will always be on. When it is working will be brighten up. When not working will be dimmer.

Thanks. Will see if light is dimmer. But other post indicate green light will be off when humidity is stable leh.

I using the older model which work this way.

If you want to know. Look at the green light 1st. Open and close the door. See if it is dimmer.

If the intensity is still the same maybe the thing is still working. wait for a day and see if light is dimmer.

Or you can compare with the red light check on the intensity of the brightness.

The AD model I'm using, the green LED brightness goes with the position of the control knob, the more clockwise you turn, the brighter is the LED.

With the DHC model, the green LED will light up when the cabi turns ON to bring down the RH and goes off when it reaches the preset value - 2% and the cabi turns OFF.

Hey all, a quick question for those with their dry cabinets in air conditioned rooms.

Does your cabinet RH increase after you've turned off the air conditioning and opened the windows?

Mine seems to be doing that, and even with a stand fan blowing on it the RH will fluctuate slightly, not sure if there's a leak on my set.

I'm using a DHC series by the way.

RH will be affected if the room temperature change. When temperature goes up, RH will drop (lower).

got mine from a relative....inside written digi -cabi (analog reading)...been turning it on since 4pm and still at 60%.....should i put my camera in or wait till it hit 40-50%??

Hi All,

Need help~

My 60L Digi-cabi just arrived today. As what the Salesguy said just turn the knob to Blue zone and all will be fine....

But after I on the power, turn to center where the blue zone are and peel off the arrow sticker behind the LCD battery side and the LCD display show 83% RH 29c :bigeyes: How to set to 55% - 40% for camera?

When only its show as 55% - 40% then I can put in the camera and lens? :sweat:

OK~ now more then 6 hours leh~ the RH% from 85% drop to 75%....(I'm setting at 10'o'clock) so what should I do now? Can someone please teach me?

Turn your knob to 11o'clock (within the blue region) and leave it there overnight. The humidity level takes about a day to stabilise.

Day2: 9.30am RH drop to 69%.

Day3: 12.15am RH drop to 66%.... how come it drops so slow.....my camera and lens still Q-ing to go in the cabinet......

I just bought my DB-036.

I would like to check if there is a 'safe period' to switch off the electricity to the dry cabinet. What will happen if I do ? Else, must it be on at all times ? I understand that it is of low power consumption, though.

I am not sure about other models but DHC series seem to be able to auto cut off power once reach target level. Yes it was stated 4W anyway

I set my level at 45RH, my room at about 27-28deg this time of the year, and it has ranged between 43-47 since I turned it on and even opening a couple of times.

Pretty happy, so far hassle free.

I saw courts or harvey norman selling akira models, smaller units for higher price
