Someone please help....
i am currently using the ad050 for the past two months..... for unknown reasons, i recently noticed that the Led does not light up and the reading is now 66%... is the cabi spoiled?

Which led color do u mean? Only the red color will light up. Try to adjust between blue and green.

Is there anywhere i can get a dry cabinet that is less than 30L? For storing 1 dslr and about 3 lens?
i just got my ad-050, i got green and red color lighted up. is this normal?
John 3:16 should have.. Can go there take a look.. Save your time to call them. They wont answer your phone.
You have to set it between blue and green. Then you will only see the red color lighted.

Yup... the green and red can be lighted together.....
Went through a crash course on the drycabi at their servicing centre....
Red = Power (therefore it should always be on)
Green = Humidity reducing (occurs when the dry cabi is working. therefore sometimes on sometimes off)
Btw, i just found out that my circuitry blew.... according to them, apparently a few sets were supposedly Korean sets which were couriered wrongly to Singapore and that using for a few month, the circuitry would give way.... Anyway they changed the whole drier for me.

Try "Armour-All' the plastic and rubber protector that you can buy off the shelves for car cleaning accessories. Cost a few dollars for a small bottle. Apply on a piece of cloth first before rubbing onto the camera.
Protects grip and any plastic parts from drying and UV.

There's an ad on dry cabinet in the papers yesterday. $299 for 70L - sold at CK Tangs. Anyone has it? How is it?

I just bought the DB-036 a few days ago, this is my observation after reading some threads in this forum and doing my own trial & error adjustments:
(1) The knob position is not calibrated uniformly across all digi-cabi! That's why some people get the stable reading of 45-55% RH at 8 o'clock knob position, some get it at 11 o'clock knob position, some (including me) get it at 1 o'clock knob position.
(2) Different environment plays an important role. For example, the humidity in my room is quite high (dunno why...) at about 80%. I guess that's why i have to keep the knob at 1 o'clock position to get a stable 46% RH...
Conclusion from this newbie: You get the reading that you what by trial & error. Hey, that's the fun & beauty of an analogue device, isn't it?

In case, if green light is constantly on, that's too . normal? constantly working abit waste electricity
mine jus arrived ytd, no power measured at 76%, turn on at default setting remain the same.
I turned my knob towards red @ 3pm mark and it goes down to 45%, when I put in my 18-105, it went up to 55% and I guess there's some vapor entering..
normal? Just put in the lens first to try out the RH%

1) I got mine at 3o'clock @ 46%
accordingly to the manual, camera storage is at 45%-55% , safe?
Basically how it works is that, i think when you open the door of the digi cabi, the RH value will increase because moisture goes in whenever your doors r open including those that are attached to your cam. So after awhile the RH value will drop n stabalise again. So minimise on opening the doors of the digi cabi.

According to digi-cabi's FAQ, 40-50% RH is best for cameras. But some smart minds in this forum suggested 45-55% RH. Personally, I always stick to the moderate way, so I guess somewhere around 45-50% RH should be ok. My setting stabilizes at 46% RH for days now, so far so good.

Actually, the mechanism that powers the drying function in the digi-cabi is extremely low power. It doesn't matter how hard it is working, it's going to make virtually no difference to your power bill. Mine has been sitting at 40% since the day I bought it and that's been perfect. Everything is dry and nice and I've had no problems with anything drying out.
