Query on B+W UV Filter bought from mass sales

Hi Folks

I just bought a 52mm B+W UV filter from 1 of the seller in mass sales. I notice that the engraving on the front inside of the filter look like transparent film pasted on it? Is this normal?

I got another B+W 72mm clear filter which I bought from CP. The engraving are laser engraved on the front inside of the filter. Look different from the one I bought from mass sales.

Kind of worried as this is the 1st time I bought an B+W filter from mass sales.

I can't be sure whether they are genuine or fake. But, I am sure there are different variation of B+W filter for instance there are variation of materials used for the filter.

Oh I see.. So far the B+W filter I seen from CP or OP all do not have such transparent film so that why kind of curious...but the mass sales indeed provide a very good price...Beside the transparent film, it does look exactly the same as the filter (wordings etc) I bought from CP..

hmm... i think the B+W filter i bought recently from Mass Sales doesn't have that laser sticker...
possibly very old stock ba.. hopefully..

who u bought it from?

i bought earlier this year from Henessy. And got one from Visiontechnik, all 3 have stickers.

Lucky I managed to find back the box... Still lying in the dustbin. So relieved to see the laser sticker!!
I got it from henessy as well!

Base on what I read on B+W filters so far, just quick guide to identify:
1. 2 types - brass and alloy, brass is heavier
2. On the side of the filter - printing 'Made in Germany'
3. Front filter - printing of the filter information
4. Laser sticker on back of the box - 2 angle views (direct and side) will show different wordings
