Hi,

Just like to find out from those who own this backpack whether it fits the EOS 30 together with the Bp 300 ?

Thanks. :)

it's customisable, so shouldn't have any problem!

I've gotten the Mini Trekker 200 and it sure helps to keep most of my accessories in one place. Also easier to carry around than a camera pouch ;p

It can carry 2 SLR plus 3-4 lens, it is big enough for an average photog. This is one of the most popular camera backpacks. Just look around and chances are you will see someone carrying it.

Funny. I've been walking around with one for the past 2 years. I'm the only one I saw with a Mini Trekker...............

Charvy, yes. You can fit a EOS 30 with BP-300 into the bag with room to spare. I should mention that the newer version(which would most probably be the one you see in shops nowadays) comes with a centralized tripod holder. Good and bad about it. Bad point, its a pain to get your stuff out the bag if you have the tripod on. Good point, you don't have to hold on to your tripod all the time.

Thanks for the feedback folks. :)

I'm looking @ a slr body with a 70-200, and a 28-105 lens with a speedlite flash, and a tripod with room to spare. May I know where's the tripod holder? Cuz I don't want to hold the tripod all the time. :p The nature trekker is too big for me.. so reckon the mini trekker will be just nice..

Guess I'm going for the SEED tmw to take a better look @ the bag.

Don't think you'll have any problems with the Mini Trekker. I've stuffed more things in it myself. The tripod holder is at the front where the front pocket is. Open the velcroed lid and the base of the tripod holder flips out. Place 2 legs of your tripod into the holder and fasten the tripod with the other 2 elastic fasteners on the front of the bag(above the front pocket) and on top of the bag. If you're still not sure, I'm sure the salesguy will be more than happy to show you how.

I'm using it as a hand held bag during check in for travelling too... so may need the extra compartments to squeeze in more stuffs :p

And who knows I may add in a couple of lenses in the future (if I do have that much $$) ;)

Then the Mini Trekker should be the one for you. I use it for my check in bag as well. It will fit nicely into the overhead compartments. However, you do have to watch out for the weight too because of the amount of things you can fit into the bag. Can't remember about Changi but overhere in Melbourne, its 7kg for the carry on limit. Give or take 500g. That's pretty comfortable for me.

I brought along my S&F reporter 300AW (filled to the bream) during my trip to sydney a mth back and the airport authorities in changi and sydney did not check for the hand held weight limit though.. phew~~ Prob they look out for those with big trolley bags I reckon.. ;)

Pretty lucky eh?;) From what I can gather, the Australians are pretty strict on these weight limits. I've been asked to weigh my carry ons the last time I came back here. So was my sister on a recent trip back to Singapore. Once my friend's luggage weight was over the limit because he has his tripod inside. They didn't accpet any fine and demanded that my friend remove the tripod and bring it on the plane as a piece of hand luggage. Citing handlers' rights related issues.

Whats the weight limit?

I'm going to Aussie at the end of the month, and am not too sure about these stuff.
Do enlighten me.

Thanks.

I'm not so sure about travellers but for us students, its about 30kg per check in luggage. You might have about 20-25 to play with. For carry ons, as I've mentioned, can't remember what's the limit for Changi but here its 7kg and has to be of a limited physical size. For reference, my Mini Trekker is just nice.

Yeahh, I've been pretty lucky. ;) During those times when I was in and outta Perth whilst I was there studying, I always filled up hand held bag to the bream.. *LoL* .. and yet I managed to sneak in.. Prob they see me as a helpless 'kid' and hence 'close one eye' .. :p

Hmm, I'm 18, and is going there for holidays... not for studies.

I will definitely bring my filled-to-the-zippers Orion Trekker along. But am not sure whether I should bring a tripod along or not... since the Orion Trekker doesn't come with a tripod attachment. :(

I brought my tripod (put inside the casing) along the other time and checked it in with a "Fragile Tag" :)
