Pushing Lucky SHD 100

I've tried scouring the net for information but cant really get samples. Has anyone here tried pushing lucky shd 100 to 400 800 or even 1600? I can mostly only find info on lucky 400 online. So thought i'd try my luck asking it here.

Usually push 2 to 3 stop as this is almost at the trash line regardless of brand.

yeah...lucky, shanghai and even ultrafine plus 400 doesn't push well. agfa apx 100/400 doesn't want to push past 1 stop.

the no.1 push film is plus-x and tri-x, in my opinion.

my first experience pushing 3 stops (and my first stand development too)

lucky SHD 100 pushed to 800, HC-110 1+125 60 mins stand development at room temperature

some pp done to make it look like tri-x

and i actually just loaded my camera with Lucky 100. going to try my hand at developing it when i'm done. mind if i PM you for the steps?

2nd try on pushing lucky 100 to 800. Still same recipe, only this time I cooled down the water to 24-25 Celcius (my tap water is around 27 C), did auto contrast and adjusted curved to slim S shape.

I did the following

HC110 - Lucky 100 pushed to 400 and hp5+ @ 400 - 1:125 at 1 hr 20 mins . not sure if time becomes a factor at such dilutions.
ilford hp5+ to 1600 1:85 at 1 hour 20 mins

pic - illford hp5+ @400 HC110 1:125 1 hour 20mins

will try pushing lucky 100 to 800 on my next roll to see how I fare

Hello reviving up this thread because i've FINALLY learnt how to self develop, and developed Lucky 100 to 1600.

Here's the recipe. TMax Developer 25deg 1+4 dilution. 17.5 minutes. 30 secs initial agitation, 4 inversions every minute. I obtained the time by extrapolating an iso400 recipe i got from massivedevchart. I have got to say, pretty amazed at the results.

shot in daylight. straight scan, no adjustments. (pardon the scratched negatives, this was only my 2nd roll)

shot at night, example to show the shadow detail which was really lost. some curves adjustment, pardon the HUGE fingerprint, lucky 100 curls like crazy and i had a hard time flattening it into the holder.

to recap, here's the recipe.

TMax developer at 25 deg, 1+4 dilution (60ml developer + 240ml water). 30seconds initial agitation, 4 inversion every minute. 17.5minutes developing time. hope this helps.

long time never do stand development, found an expired lucky 100 to test, and agfa rodinal expired (opened in 2003)

1+100 20 Celcius, 30s agitation in the beginning, then leave it for 1 hour
