Purchasing OEM software @ SLS

I was looking at the SLS pricelists and it mentioned that OEM software can be purchased with any new PC/hardware.

Does it mean I can just pick up a Hdd, or even a PSU for that matter and I'll be able to purchase the OEM software?

Kindly advise.

legally speaking, retailers are only supposed to sell OEM software along with a sale of a computer system. but of course software companies are never going to know otherwise would they?

Yes, legally speaking the software should only be sold with a brand new PC. (not just any hardware).

It is even stated on the license itself.

But the shop can claim the software are for them to bundle with their systems or they can claim that the buyers have previously bought systems from them and are now purchasing the OS.

Anyway, I think buying OEM software w/o PCs is not as serious as buying pirated softwares.
