nice series/video

kinda like this pic, where exactly in punggol is it?

To refer to the map at the 'To Punggol With Love' thread:

If you are driving or taking bus 82 down to the jetty its on the right. Alight the bus at jetty, or park your car there, and walk down.

If you are at the jetty walking down towards the MRT direction, its on the left, slightly after 24th Avenue, its a trail off the main road. Cars can't really drive up the steep ramp but construction vehicles like bulldozers can. You can see the bulldozer tracks on the pic actually.

Its easy to spot and also easy to miss because it just like the common tropical greenry along the sides of the road. I was attracted by the fallen tree and the algae growing on it. It doesn't look like this in real life of course.

Looks like some temperate forest in some country up north..

Am curious as to what treatment u gave to this pic?

Its some heavy work in photoshop. In short, play with hues. :)

wow..i like the colours of this series!

Thanx!

Well Done !!! very nice..though i am using the same camera as you, i have lots of stuffs to learn from you..its really the man behind the camera...and not the camera itself..

Thanx!

Camera/Gear is important too.

Hey great series! And the post processing really does give it a surreal feel.

The colours are very nice indeed! I especially fancy your insect shots. Saturation is a bit on the high, but well I like it too. The bluish tint gave the butterfly a fairytale-garden feel. Nice.

One question. Did you sharpen a lot? Some of the shots seem to have quite a bit of haloing.:dunno:

Hi,

I'm a newbie. I like all the shots taken.
Really have a lot to learn from you guys out there.

Thanx, as mentioned, I like surrealism for landscapes. I am a dreamer.

Bluish tint is camera's Auto WB mistake, it works for the feel of the photo so I did not correct it.

Yes, I sharpened more for the landscapes coz stacking 3 to 4 filters and some f22 shots soften the pics much.

For the insects shots I also sharpened more than usual in attempts to fix depth of field blurs and trying to make it look more 'macro'.

The halos are well worth trade offs.

Well done.
If you didnt mention it, I wouldnt have thought this to be Punggol.
Cheers
