Punggol Beach & Kampung Lorong Buangkok Outing

Hi all, I've noticed that many pple are asking no transport and blah blah blah...ok, ive taken the liberty to call and enquire about Bus Plus 3 Hr Charter (19-seater). It's $180+ (7% GST). If you have 19 pax on board, each person is approximately $10.1368. This will resolve all transport issues. Can have a pick-up location i.e; Sengkang / Hougang / AMK / YCK to Punggol Jetty. The bus is at disposal, so driver will wait. From Punggol Jetty to Jalan Kayu/Punggol/ Compass Point/ Rivervale/Buangkok for breakfast, then to Kampung Lorong Buangkok. However, please note that the bus service is only for 3 hrs. Additional hour charges applies.

Now, we are all adults here and I trust that the above information suffice. Please don't ask questions like "if im not staying near any of the places, how?" and so forth...I think it's seriously subject to your own decision? I can't be providing transport services as well, although i'm the organiser.

Rocky Boy is kind enough to provide information on the sun rise schedule. So please take a look. I think by 6.30am, we should be there in time to set-up, but let's try not to take chances.

Looking at the placements, i would reckon the outing will be on Saturday, 7th Feb. Those on the Sunday placements, can you guys try to make it on Saturday? It will be great! Do let me know.

:thumbsup: for PPZ initiative to think of transport arrangement..
I'm fine to get myself to Punggol Beach, as 82 passes by my block (have been there 2 times). But never been to Lorong Buangkok before, not sure how to get there. Is there any alternative footpath accessible from Sengkang East Ave? Or can only be accessed from Buangkok Link or Yio Chu Kang Rd? Maybe transport arrangement is good idea to get there from Punggol Beach..

For information to everyone, 82 is the only bus to reach Punggol Beach (Punggol Road End).
The bus starts from Serangoon Interchange, and according to timetable the first bus to leave interchange is at 6am.
The bus will pass several NEL MRT stations where you can hop in:
- Kovan MRT, take exit A (Upper Serangoon Road) to bus stop opp Heartland Mall (B21).
- Hougang MRT, take exit C to Hougang Ave 10 then go to bus stop across the road (B05).
- Punggol MRT, take exit C then walk across Punggol Bus Interchange to bus stop at Punggol Place (B01).
The bus passes Sengkang only along Punggol Road.
Last time I managed to reach Punggol Beach at about 6.20am took the first 82 bus (about 6.10am at my bus stop at Punggol Road opp block 110)

It is not so simple as just to insert. You see, the list is actually an object. A peek at the API shows there is an add(object o) method, you will need to manually invoke that. No worries, I have already coded for you below, you should see your name after this post compiles and run.

Hi all,

Please let me know who prefers to take the bus. I would need to make arrangements to book the bus for that day.

Please note that it is a 19-seater bus, so first come first serve. And we will try to fill up all the seats. Otherwise, whatever seats left need to be divided equally. Is that ok?
