I will be defending the country on the 5th of March (Unless my camp practice 5 days work week)

As for 12th, My Company is also not practicing 5 days week, so I need to try to take leave, which I don't know can approve or not....? Haiz...

You all have fun.... I will be your backup infantry... In case you need help, you can mobilized me from mainland... keke...

Eastern route is very tough. I forgotten is it longer or not as to reach the beach (If all you wanted to go) But the beach there is nice.

I think we may have to start a poll whether majority on or 5th or 12th.

Ever Since the First Invasion, I have been wanting to go for the 2nd that will cover the east part of the nice cooling island. This time round, we will look for more spiders to shoot, hopefully we will see a spiderman If you don't arm with a Lumix, you still can join us.

Based on the map of ubin Francis forwarded to us the last time, there a basically 2 routes we could take:

Green Route:
This does not take us to the furthermost part of the island. Lots of things to see via this route. Great for walks.

Brown Route:
This is the longer route that will take us to the most eastern part of ubin. Fyi, it is much longer than the western route we took to the Thai temple. Also, you have to consider the walk back to the jetty.

Either way is fine for me. But in order to cover the longer distances via foot, we cannot afford to walk too slowly or stop at every point there's an overhanging spider. At that rate, we may make it in time for the sunset shot!

Hmmzz... cannot call mainland for help... I bet the boatman or boatuncle live in ubin one lor... most prob can discuss with them for a trip back mainland... after all we are paying mahz... somemore full boat lehz... full boat 24 dollars - fuel... at most 4 - 6 dollars worth of diesel... the uncle sure wana earn an extra 14 - 18 dollars bah...

I once took a ferry back from ubin at 7 pm. There should be boats around this time, just fewer. Btw, not everyone can tahan the trip from so early in the morning till evening. If we plan the trip properly instead of aimless wandering, we'll be back by late afternoon at the most.

Another way is to get the hp number of one of the van drivers. When we are at the far eastern end of the island and need a ride. Just Dial-A-Van for the ride back.

Lol. Talking about spiders.. Sgt Andrew like that the best. Anyway, that's something we should take note of as well.

And yes the route will be longer than the previous route we walked on. But with no fear, time will not be waste unless someone had to leave early.

We should keep it as like before, come together, go off together. Ok with that?

We can also ask the boatman, what time is their last ferry. As for fetching us back from the beach, we can try talking to the driver over there as well. No worries.

And also, ITguy, which is the confirmed date for the invasion because by looking at the list, 2 ppl picked 12th. 1 picked 5th and the rest are fine for both dates. Hope to get the date confirm so that everyone will be clearer. hehe

I recall the last time there were supposed to be 12 meeting in the morning, but only 9 of us turned up. The rest came later. So its ok if we have more than 12 this time. At most if the boat is full, there's always the next ride along with other folks.
