Project: Your Photos with Leica Camera/Lenses

How about compiling a name list for a start, to gauge the interest in this project? Doesn't have to be restricted to Clubsnap members only, if theres any friend you have that might have interest can add in too.

My idea is to have local content, too many overseas stuff readily available. Non-CS/CS membership is not a requirement obviously.
 

How about creating a flickr group for members to contribute photos?
 

OK... shall we limit to "Pictures by Range Finders of Singapore" only?

how about an e-book instead?
printings sounds like quite a big commitment.
 

Publish in coffee table books its a good idea. Cause all the works done in film and as you know not much people into film photography furthermore using rangefinder. I find it will look more exclusive and more professional.
 

7. Once we have a pool of solid solid photographs, we will send it to print. Meanwhile, anyone got good "lobang" on publisher or anyone who want to sponsor, welcome too...

Nothing beats a coffee table book :). For me, getting a good designer to do the layout is key. The rest can easily fall into place.

Off set printing can be quite expensive.

Printing is dependent on paper stock also, sometimes the grain patterns of the paper can make or break your image. But we can discuss more about it at a later stage. I can get some quotes from my suppliers if this is taking off.

Wow getting hot this thing. Hoping it success.
So why not don't waste time. Get organise. Maybe get those senior bros here to be the board member for this project. I believe this will take quite sometime especially in selecting photos and also the photgrapher's write-up. So start to appoint the creative person,editors and etc.:)

I will come up with an initial meeting, most probably next week either week night or Sat morning. Can have Prata and Teh Tarik to discuss. We need folks who will dedicate some portion of their time to do the following:

1) Contact List (We may organize photo shoot for some of the themes)
2) Prepare Topical/Thematic List
3) Consolidation of Pictures via Web (get a feel before we actually ask for the large files/actual prints)
4) Designer (not sure how to get a volunteer as this project will be for 6-9 months or may have to engage someone
