lol..if i might OT a bit.
asking for a 5-8 minute short clip. quote accordingly la....if 25K for 3 days...then it's $5.7 per min, so will you take $50 ( keep the change ) for the event?

btw, you can PM him.

The truth lies where the real pros and the freelancers are. However when it comes to delivery of the goods, the production house must make good its promised or face a lawsuit while a freelancer just loses the job with the clients pulling their hair out looking to remedy the problem cause.

Too many cases to cite, some of which happened on this forum. To be honest, we are chraging cheaper than most established production houses, who charges $50 to 100 k to even do a 1 minute promo / ad that's even before paying MediCorp for broadcasting

You obviously have never dealt with a corporate video before to be saying something like that. And as tommon says, 25k is really not a lot as compared to some of the jobs out there.

When talking about price it's really sen.si.tive la ..

But the things it's the Client who going to pay the money .

So whether it's 25 k or 50 k let them decide but in Singapore we must be true to ourselve la , not every job you quote you will win the job and making it so fancyful about our pricing may back fire ourselve . We don't get the glamourous look and pay everytime even the super pros. so really don't have to make it an issue . You have your client and we have ours , you serve your client well and we make a point to go every extra step to make them feel happy .

I'm looking for a Videographer and I don't need any Production house service at the moment , that's why my post is Professional Videographer wanted and not Production House . This is what the Client requirement , it's that simple , they don't need anyone to remind them that how much some here cost .

For experienced pros, most of them will charge you similar pricing. The cameraman is $500 to 800 a day just for shooting, no post, no director, no script. Editors are $300 to 500 a day. Editing suites $100 per hour. For every 1 minute of video, you'll need 10 hours of post work.

So you do your maths. If the project flops, who do you blame???? Ha Ha Ha. It's a long way to heaven, hell is shorter.
