As mentioned in my post above. Body only.
I believe Singapore will bundle 14-54Mk II or 12-60mm with it. Check with your local dealers.
2.2K for body hmmm I hope with bundled 12-60 lens it wont reach 3K hehehe

But note prices will not be the same in Singapore so don't let the Chinese prices be definitive. Look at the US prices and it will most likely be more accurate. The Chinese Yuan is rising so we won't know what is the price like by November. I think it is based on the Yuan to USD conversion. Which is constantly changing. This is a guide not Singapore's price. Don't be misled. In Europe it is £1,299 list price (street will be lower). Comparing global prices will make you mentally prepared of what you will be paying in Singapore. Bundles, whatsoever, are determined by every localised office.
cant wait to hear HK street price, I think HK still one of the good place to hunt for camera (only those with int'l warranty)
Actually I don't feel that it will be the case anymore because since HK dollar is pegged to the USD which is weaker than the Yen, it might turn out otherwise. Lately not all things are cheaper in Hong Kong. I will find out more when I am there next week. Hmm...
yeah you're one train away from HK is it bro? Last year i was there like 5 times due to work related stuff bought a couple of things there  I find the price are very good mah. and the good one is they are tax free  i even find the street price is much cheaper than thier Duty Free Shops lols
with sgd strengthening (< 1.3 today), buying from usa might not be a bad choice if one is going there. some amazon & b&h prices are very competitive even with tax. shipping back here+7% gst will probably still kill the deal.

I wish, bro. I am up north, so it is about 4 hours by flight. Just that my wife travels monthly to HK for her beauty supplies, so we are due for another shopping trip while I can get hold of gadgets.
Looking at the Singapore dealers these days, with all the bundles, sometimes it is better to spend a bit more to pay for a local product. There is always a risk of getting ripped off by the Chionese and Hong Kongers. Unless you live there, it would be a problem. It's not a train ride away.
oh yeah true... but my next assignment to US might be March '11.. You were there last month gotten any good deals?

Not to mention, if it is your friend and not the merchant shipping back to you and something happens in transit, you are in for a heartache!
bought a few pentax 25f1.4 c-mount at b&h new york, easy to carry and easy to sell off at B&S on small profit... Going b&h from JFK aiport is <1hr, so if u transit long, it's not a problem to go there...oh, poison deep deep...
u go next march, can buy the E5 maybe at disct, then it's 43 for u all again :bsmilie:
haha very true, last time i was in usa, i was worried missing / lose the shipment last time there waiting for amazon package in hotel for e-pl1.
sorry OT too much liao...;p
... I think this is the only way i could get my missus to agree to keep two bodies. One should be small that looks like PnS and the other is big
See how bro... my boss said the venue will be in HQ that is in Seattleand/or maybe Cali if manages to escape ....
thats the reason why I never dare to play around with E5 bro imagine I started from EPL1 moved to E620 and go to E5 in less than a year  but I have not close the door yet I am thinking of getting maybe EP1 as my backup cam I think this is the only way i could get my missus to agree to keep two bodies. One should be small that looks like PnS and the other is big
if u're feeling 'ish, there is another thing u can get...
hehe see if I could technically cheat my way outbut I must let go of my E620 and the PnS Sony H10 1st then I'll tell her see we dont have a back up cam ;p then I maybe I could get a PEN for my landscape photography and the other System for my fast moving and hate to be picture at lols...
..rid of the missus!
sometimes then they scared and let u have ur way.. :bsmilie: <<-- I wish i can bro hehe but it'll be hard if I let her go she's my water that quench my thirst and air that i breathe
LESS THAN A YEAR!!???? Your Chief Financing Officer needs to the his/her job....... haha
Just shared some photos taken from the E-5 from Saturday session in P&P. Overall i find the E-5 quite easy to handle and use.

lucky you. what lens was used? the images are quite sharp IMO but the WB seems to be a little too much red.

Considering the jump from E1 to E5, you might or might not have to invest in the SHG lenses, but this is a personal preference. The low light performance of the E5 might be sufficient, but there is always that "very low light situation".
The only reason the 645 format is good, from film days till now, is that it is hand holdable. I have used 6x6 and 6x7 and it is less forgiving. The larger the mirror, the more the vibration. And I have to agree, 645 has always been the one that the medium format shooters frown upon as the "neither here nor there camera".
But still, it wins my heart. Now waiting for either Pentax to get more lenses out or Mamiya to surprise me.
