Problem with my 450D...

Just that i am not able to press the shutter fully for a shot. Have taken quite a number of shots with this machine

You should. Don't think anyone really understand what you are trying to express. It may be easier for someone to check it out than all of us trying to figure out how you can shoot without being able to press shutter.

maybe, just maybe, you shouldn't call the lady a machine...she is just upset

When I was very very new, I also cannot fully press the shutter, when the lens is too near the object (there is a limit of min focusing distance for lens).....

canon do offer out of warranty chk.. i think $60 for a normal one and $120 for a full test of everything.. just in case those of u got old ones and want to hv a complete chk up

min 28 cm when using kits lens (18-55)

Just put to manual focus, should be able to snap at any distance

I have encounter this for my 450D after 3 month from purchased.
Send to CSC , change the main circuit board and now OK liao !
