Yup. Best to understand how the pano works to take full advantage of it. It does this by stitching the shots together. In order to do this, it needs to see continuity. When a subject moves, it appears in one frame and not in another (or appear diff). The software can't tell what happens, so it tries to rebuild the image by merging the 2 overlapping shots. This results in the problems you indicated. Always make sure there is minimal or no movement when taking pano shots.
