Thanks smartkel. I shot all these images handheld. Definitely good practices will allow you to shoot sharp images.

Thanks Paladin. Based on my setup of 60mm macro plus raynox probably the distance between lens and subject range from 10cm to 20cm.

Definitely like night shoot, I will use flash. Setting not much of different. Unless you choose to shoot in natural light. Then a tripod is necessary for stability and getting sharp shots.

May I know for shots with black background, did you use a black card?
How U keep the insects in place? Cold water spray?

Flash were used on most of my shots. Flash power are adjusted just right to illuminate the subjects. Thus the open space behind is black. We shoot mostly at night. These fellas are rather tame and stay still most of the time at night.

All these shot with em5?? What model flash was use.. I'm newb with flash.
