Pro1 Digital UV - HOYA/KENKO same?

Hi people,

Can kindly advise if the below are the same filter as I learned that Hoya=Kenko. Kenko is cheaper and only marketed in japan whereas Hoya is a US brand name. But their Pro1 Digital UV is the same, isn't. If so, why not i go buy the kenko from ebay which is $25 lesser than hoya.

I bought a Kenko Pro-1D and the sales explained that it is the local Jap version for Hoya, and is same as Hoya Pro-1D. Price is cheaper than Hoya. Used it and quite happy with it, minimal flaring.
