As a former teacher I give you zero for both facts and content. Do you know the meaning of the word graciousness, especially when one is seeking information?

As a non-teacher, I can tell you that it's not graciousness... it's humility ;p

But I digress hehehe.

To TS, honestly, you ask people for their views. Read that last sentence again. THEIR views. You said you didn't want them to refer to other people's tests etc, so it should be fine for them to at least share with you THEIR own experience.

So you get a few who say the 50/1.4 is not bad but they also share with you some ALTERNATIVES based on their personal experience. Why such a response?

Do you know what you have just been given? A free brainstorming session, that, if you use this formula:
(assuming each contributor has 5yrs photography experience on average)
= 5 * X number of contributors worth of experience.

FOR FREE.

So stop being so ungrateful and be glad people are willing to share. If you don't like this, go back to searching for reviews and take your pick.....
