You can search the past posts in the clubsnap classified section on the D100 to get a ball park price, with pricing depending on factors, with cameras in good shape getting better value. I usually look around previous posts and resale prices from keh or adorama before coming to a decision on purchase ( bearing in mind these are overseas resale prices )

Within the range it is pretty much up to how comfortable you are willing to let and how much the buyer is willing to buy.

how can Nikon D100 be only two years old?

anyway, I sold my D100 for $500 sometime last year, you should able to sell at a price slightly more than a D70, of course you place a selling thread with any price you like, if no response than you adjust the price downward till it sold.
