Saw this at the shop....
selling Nikon D300.

Yen 228,000 = Est Sin$2923 (Body only)

Kit with 18-200mm lens = Yen 316,000 = Est Sin $4051
Kit with 18-70mm Lens = Yen 268,000 = Est Sin $3435

if its only $100 + cheaper.. might as well get in sg for the warranty. Not worth going up to malaysia to repair for 100+ diff.

Yes,the service must done in kl Nikon main office.
Or you also can send your camera to kl by post office service,you will need to delivery by post. Correct me if wrong,the delivery return is free(you need declare for services,something like custom or tax)..

but only issue is warranty in malaysia.... a bit troublesome if want to do ccd cleaning...
but the camera can self clean... ha ha

I thought it was a CMOS though lol. Really cheap pricing. Theres quite a variation in pricing.
