Wow, I'm impressed by this bunch, no one mention anything about alcohol...:bsmilie: Only milk and coffee
Either you all don't drink alcohol, or just don't care about paying more for your vices...hehe
I think we are to be blamed for electing our government, so next round we know better what to do. Either that or direct your complaints and observation to the opposition, who has a voice, be it quiet one or not. When such things get voiced out publicly, it affects the people's emotion, who then have the voice that garmen will have to pay attention to.
If the complain is that GST is high, it won't hold water, as the garmen will only give you more example of other places with higher GST, eg USA 8%, UK 18% etc.... So if anybody has any contacts or way of justifying government over-spending, that would be a good spot to start digging...IMHO.
We see day in day out of garmen policies that fail, but we just live with it, typical singaporean>> Bo Dar, Bo Chee. (no balls) Give you an example, COE was "designed" to curb traffic density>>FAILED, now its a money spinner for garmen. Now they have to put up more gantries, I think next time, the gantry will just be infront of your carpark.
Whenever there are changes in monetary policies, you can be sure, many "smart arses" will be burning the midnight oil, thinking of ways to take advantage of people.
