Sorry but John and red dot price is 118 as compare to parissilk 107 best I found. Correct me if I'm wrong

Parisilk is well-known for not including GST in their quoted prices.

i agree....paris silk prices were cheaper compared to that in funan (even with the freebies / promo stuffs on).....but i still end up buying in john because i find it hard to go and visit the paris silk shop....but i still recommend them (paris silk) they have good customer service....

no offence but this is nonsense... the D90 is more than that compared to D5000... then again i'm not critising ur choice of the D5000 just don't want the TS to be misled into settling for something less when he could have bought the better D90.

sorry man, but i didn't say that D90 is bad camera. in fact it was one of choices but i was budget constraint that's why i choose the D5000 over it after i weigh in comparison of the specs.....no offense (typo error: not offence) to you too....

if the author likes the D90 over the D5000 then why not. if he has the luxury and the money then go for it. who am i to compel and force him to buy cheap ones.

just a update, Paris Silk heard from me that SLR revo is offering 1627 for d90 kit and the old man (aka boss) say he can lower to $1617 nett for cash payment only. in the end i decided to get from SLR revo due to jason's service and i spend almost 2 hours there shooting question and learning as compare to Paris silk who offer me 1617 (10 bucks cheaper, the way they do sales is like rushing to hell and keep say "its like this, its like that") but i still feel that the $10 extra for SLR is worth paying for 2 hours of chatting

I was going to get mine too. I think the cheapest I asked so far for a 30L one is $105 ( cash ).
U can get it at SLS AP or parissilk ( Holland Village ),

I was quite surprise that I got a good price for a D700 Original battery at AP ( SLS ) as I had asked around before that.

Anyway, I never trust any shop in SLS until I got in AP which I used to get my Casio compact camera from them donkey years ago.

It's better to check a few store before buying.

Probably it's just a misunderstanding cheers. No worries and I'm not luxurious. If I am I won't have bought d90 with 50mm prime, I rather get a D3x and a 600mm prime lens lol. It's just my budget allow me to smack 2k as self rewarding for a hardworking year 2009 / Xmas present.
