Price of Transcend 45x 256/512MB

Hi,

Mind to share the price of this CF card? Sent e-quotes to mscolor and cp but they dun sell this card...

The best price i get is SGD130/255 for 256/512MB...

I'm using A70 and do u think it's a good investment for this card? Thinking of Twinmos CF card also coz 512MB > SGD202 for Feb promotion...

Don't know the market rate for the cards. But the last time I got my Transcend 45X 512Mb in November 2003, it was selling for about $240 at Eastgear.

a regular CF like Kingston/Hagiwara will do for your A70 actually, unless you have intentions to upgrade to a digicam that will make full use of the extra speed in the NEAR future.

How about Twinmos CF 256MB? Does A70 has a limitation of reading/writing CF card(speed?)? :dunno:

Think about the waranty also...
Transcend has 5 years waranty.. But Twinmos only has 2 years..

So, do u think it's worth it to fork out a little bit more for the performance and the extended waranty(3years)

I bought it from Memory World... They setup a booth in NUS Photography Society's bazaar at NUS last week...
