Price of new d300

hey guys,

im looking to purchase a new d300 body, and i know i can check the price guides, but i just want to know the most current and best price i can get for this camera.

im not sure if im allowed to post this topic here, but i would appreciate if someone who bought this camera recently, could PM me or post here directly about the prices and etc.

The above price are quoted within this week. On 9-1-2008, John at Funan quote me D300 body at $2580, with local Nikon warranty. You can go there and confirm before buying.

Due to the serious itch, I bought from Lords 2hrs ago at cash $2600 (include GST) and local set..... best price around liao, next is Alan Photo at SLS at $2650. cheers

Wow thats a pretty good price. Bought mine at Cathay for $2700. Local set with supplied Nikon Capture NX on CD. Apparently the earlier only had a product code which requires you to log onto the internet to get the Capture NX.

Yap... mine comes with a Nikon Capture Nx disc in it too

Just got mine today at lords. 2600 SGD after GST. local nikon warranty with supplied capture NX cd. very genuine service and offered me reasonable rate for CF cards too. fab service, definitely recommended, prices are more competitive compare to some of the "reputable" shops here.

For me I paid in Hard Solid CASH, not even NETS because nets charges 1% according to them. But at $2600 I am not complaining...

There's ATM machine just right outside. They already prefered cash rather than nets so absolutely there will be surcharge for CC payment.

if im not wrong, there is a 4% surcharge for CC.

So the diff is 4% surcharge actually. Should wait until IT show in March? Maybe price may drop slightly with some gift, but no more capture NX liao. Give and take.... Very itch but no extra cash in hand. Poor family man problem. And I'm still having the D100, which still quite good IMHO.

Cannot take it, too itch liao. So, gave an excuse and walked over to Mustafa, luckily no more stock!!! So, force me to endure again...
