135mm on your cam body will be quite 'long' due to crop factor.

135x1.6=216

Yea. that's my major concern too. anybody has 135mm on 1.6x body? please share your experience. I won't use it indoor with tight space. I'll definitely get a FF body in the future.

I use it on my 40D for outdoor candid portraiture.

I'm back from a trip with 85mm f1.8 on my 50D... nice distance for street photography but you have to look out for interesting happenings way ahead of you and act fast.

85mm and 135mm on 50D or any crop body will have different focal length.

85mm on crop body is like 135mm while 135mm is like 216mm.

I do, on a 40D. I bought it mainly for portrait (half body / shoulder shots) but found it useful for my travels too.

In certain circumstances, it will be quite long, I agree. But if you're eyeing a FF upgrade or maybe pairing it with an 85mm prime like I do then it's a very good buy.

You can look at my 135mm set here. I haven't updated it much though (means I tend to forget to add photos to this set).

my reviews on this lens? i bought it only after i upgrade to FF.

this lens is a keeper and almost a must buy for those who like to shoot portraits. Even at f2, its very sharp and contrasty.

you can view my photos taken with this lens on FF on this thread.
