Yea most probably its because of the tsunami, some of the lenses costs even more than local sets

Oh they will. Anyone following the news would have heard that rare earth prices shot up a few months ago. That means electronics etc. etc. etc. is going to be quite expensive... Throw in other commodity prices, currency fluctuations. Yeah things will be expensive...

Go Cathay, Parisilk, MS Colours etc better.....Or can support Artworkfoto if still want to buy grey set, if they keep their pricing the same.

Angry that I added to cart the night before, price was $2857, with stock.
Next morning I confirm and sent in, it says 'AWAITING STOCK' at $2857...

Later that day, I got a call, say price has changed the nite b4 from $2857 to $$3099, and say dont know why my cart not updated.
SO CANNOT HONOUR MY DEAL..!!#*&(^

Dd elec is pararel importer, their price rise along if there is a chg in currency. Sing dollar weaken for these couple of weeks, thats why their price increase

I suggest you make a couple calls to stores in JB, like meetoo or berlian. Hopefully they have not raised prices yet.

yup. I've seen the price of the Canon 50L which I bought for 2k 2 months ago, rise by $400! The price increase for 85L is even scarier

yes, 85L is one of the most increased price at DDE... i bought mine 1st March for 2689, its 3199 now, thats 510 price increase!
