Price for Nikon 17-55mm ?

Could anyone tell me whats the market and grey stock price for a Nikon 17-55mm f2.8 lens? Yup, the G lens...

new one is ard 2.2k with local warranty. not sure about grey.

TCW once quoted 2.7k for a grey one when mainstream stocks were not in :bsmilie:

I guess their price may be more competetive now.

Oh, such a big different, but how could the main source be so much cheaper then grey stock?
