For those searching for the best deal for D90, please share your information in this thread for the benefit of everybody. I went to SLS this evening and found 2 quotations.

I got these quote from AP
1) NIKON D90 18-105 kit -- sgd 1550.00 (4gb sdhc)
2) NIKON D90 Body + NIKKOR 18-200 VR -- sgd 2190.00 (4gb sdhc)
3) NIKON D90 Body + 18-270 Tamron VC -- sgd 2140.00 (4gb sdhc)
All prices are quoted before GST, and apply to cash payment only.
I'm planning to get the D90 body with the 18-270 VC Tamron
Any comment?

Well, it would help if you can clarify your priority, like value? versatility? Also what you buy should mirror your photography interests and needs. Myself? I travel alot so i got option 2) cos i need the versatility of 18-200VR. Originally wanted to get a tammy 17-50mm f2.8 for portraits, 70-300VR for telephoto along with my 50 f/1.8. The 18-105VR has decent reviews and is quite a good kit lens IMHO. If a do it all lens like the 18-270 meets ur needs. then by all means get it!

they open the price about 1570 for D90 with standard kit..
but then i m asking more deep on the price and warranty then they down the price until sgd 1350....Damn..then i was thinking for some times, ah let me buy this next time...they got angry then they down price until 1160....
unbelievable....
i tell the truth based on my experienced on that day, so that's the story for last week...
my question is can i trust them ???
sgd 1160 is......(even body only also can't get)
i have asked many friends they said don't buy at lucky plaza, they said they will change parts..
lol..
i was wondering and thinking until now...
please advice me

my ans is usually +/- $100 but if not wrong current market price still at ard $1600-$1700
like i have asked before, in lucky plaza, lords is most recommended. I made my purchase there.. though first time seeing near 2k cash out from my pocket, but i'm happy with using the D90.
its really tricky, the shop beside lords say they shared e same boss, and they offer cheaper in 20-30 dollars but next second they up their price (so very jumpy)
if you try on some shops in 2nd level, worst, asked first time 1550, second time go.. price become 1999, crap!
