Price for D90

For places like Courts, Best D, Harvey N ... price should be $1880 to $1899/-

They ususally sell at RRP...

Unless you got some vouchers to clear ... you cannot get those 1650~1750 pricing..

But come to think of it... if you got $200 voucher, you buy at $1880-$200 = $1680/-... it as good to use those vouchers for other better appliances stuff or maybe a 8GB SDHC card....

Challenger selling at $1888 with 3 yr in-house warranty. I think Courts and HN too give extra 2 yr warranty at that price, if they dont give, then just dont buy since others r selling cheaper.

Funny thing at Challenger IMM, D90 price tag is $1888 and D80 price tag is still holding at $1988 when we are seeing the D80 prices falling like the recent stock market prices.

Sure, it's already on the shelves. Saw it side by side with the D40 and D60. It's not that much bigger. An amg mor guy was testing out the movie function at Alan Photo when i was there today.

2) Alan Photo today at Funan quoted me $1700.

3) Song Brothers today quoted me $1690. Same as TK Foto.

All prices include GST.

I was just asking for fun. I just need the body. Body only should be available next month. :thumbsup:

Has been repeated many times that BO unit not available yet, speculated price is around S$1400 and timeframe about a month from now. If you really need a D90 body now, just get the kit lens version and sell the lens. I'm guessing the new 18-105 will be a good upgrade from the 18-55 of the D40/D50/D60 users without having to shell out more $$$ for the 18-200...

I beieve Nikon showroom opens only during normal office hour unlike Canon at Vivo, so its a little tough for me to go during office hour.

Seems to be that Harvey gives better price

Be very cautious when buying from Song Brothers ..... their tactics is to sell u the main item very cheap as they r aware u hv done your homework...... i got cheated lately, they told me other shops sell cheap but will ask you to buy accessories and make from there...... This really take me off me guard thinking that they r being nice to inform me not to be cheat.....

So i bought my dslr , next moment they strike small talks and then ask me whether i need SD cards ...... i did not do homework before hand so i asked their price for 4GB ..... they say best price $99.00 and cannot offer discount, so i trusted its their best best...... Next they advice me to get a camera bag (same brand as the dslr) for $25.00 ..... so i got it too since i need a bag to go ard ....... And happily i went off......

After my excitemet settle down, i feel tht something something is fishy as the official recipt stating all the items including freebies and accessories but the price is Lump Sum.

So i went online to check the 4GB card and to my astonish , it is selling only $65 for the similar one...... i immediately call up the shop to find out the price and the sales person who picked up the call told me $76 which is also much lesser than the $99 which they charge me. Then I asked for the sales person who sold me the item and gave a piece of my mind for her not being honest. And she gave me lots of bulls & crabs ...... finally agree to rebate me the difference.
After a few days, i also realised that the bag is given out for free by the dslr , yet they sold it to me.

My advice to all CSers to buy only items that you hv check price. Those you have not check can buy later to avoid being "Carrot head".

ya.. their sticker $1888, look for the "big size" girl/lady there and ask her can give lower price or not.... she is a nice girl/lady. she allowed bargain..
