For those who want to upgrade to A700... just wait. Once the A900 is out, there will be many good deals on A700 bodies on the BnS.

mayb got some sony marketing ninja come here realise a problem brewing? lol
no matter how cheap or even if the body is free, think twice or thrice or quadruple before u get it...
think again abt the prices of the lenses and accessories that u definitely are going to buy in the future. think harder. think hardest.
*think* "hard" "harder" "Hardest" sigh should i upgade my A100 to A700? *start thinking again*
Any ideas if A900 will be a fullframe?
Actually dun have to squeeze our brain juice so much la... so far i have been using my A350 very often and i like my current system a lot. well, as for lenses i believe in the quality we are paying. of cuz for those who can't really afford SONY lens, there are alway other alternative.. a third party KM lenses o'ready had a long range from us to choice from so, hence not a major concern.
Another thing is that SONY has a very good Service Center. There is once i cannot transfer my pictures over from my memory card to the computer and i email them of my problem. I was surprised when they called me the next day, but lucky i had o'ready solved it and realised that the problem lies in the memory card, not the camera. For this, i am glad that they have such a good working efficiency. I believe this is what most customer is looking for when they are most anxious when there is problem with the system. But anyway, nothing is perfect, that applicable for gadget like DSLR. That why there is alway Service Center for us to turn to.
Anyway, if the body is free.. wow.. i'll be one of the first one to grab. i believe many of our bro n sis out dere will agree wif me :bsmilie:
As for the price reduction for A700, its indeed a good deal... great that SONY had reduced their price.. its definately a good move. I had been look forward to this reduction for very long liao... but too bad i o'ready armed myself with A350... if not, i would have got A700 :bsmilie:
:thumbsup:for SONY ALPHA
i've decided too. you should too! I'm using my A100 as backup now  Getting A700 on MONDAY!
It's time to retire the A100. I also had that camera. While good, the A700 is MANY times better. Many. And with the current prices, it makes perfect sense to go for it.
In the Customer Service industry, there are all sorts of people... some who will go all the way to assist you - going the extra miles (GEMS), and maybe a few black sheep...Their service good meh?
I've sent in my A350 due to 2 dirt spots on CCD,
since i'm newbie, as many bros also not recommend to clean CCD DIY style,
I sent to SONY SC to clean lor,
waited 10 days,
I got few free gifts -
-some scratches on body(no big deal, as those can rubbed away)
-2 xtra big dirt spots on CCD
-"cool" attitude from SC staff(his face showed he's busy and dun bother to ask me to check my A350 and also walk away to continue his job...)
i finally DIY lor, bought sensor swab kits(S$200++)...
Thanks you SONY SC for giving me chance to be more independant, to grow up in DSLR world.
Warmest reagrds.
