Just an update, spoke to Olympus SG and they are checking for stocks from HQ, hope will go through.

Hi wonglp sir, thanks for making the arrangements once again. Unfortunately I am going for an offshore trip for the whole of next week and I may not have wifi. If the next pre-order falls within that period, I will likely miss it again. Nevertheless, I really appreciate your effort. Hope the 3rd pre-order does happen for the rest of the bros here!

Hey, nothing much really, I do hope they can get this through, and I hope all can understand even if it doesn't. Coz I'm sure the retailers can't wait to get their hands on this lens, they are probably making noise when they see this thread haha. The demand has exceeded the supply much to Oly surprise.

Sound like a good buy, best part is you get it now, instead of a few months time. The Japanese set should comes with international warranty, say if you do not like it could always sell 2nd hand for much cheaper that what is available here

Olympus stated not long ago that there won't be international warranty for any purchase after September this year

I'm so sorry to inform that Olympus can't proceed with a 3rd preorder as the demand of the lens really exceeded thair expectations. I do believe they tried to ask for more sets from Japan, but it's just not to be.

Possibly first and last time I'm doing this. For those who have the lens in first 2 preorders have fun.
