Pre wedding spots

TS, scouting out locations is part and parcel of a wedding photographer's job! That explains the reaction thus far.. Since you seem to be asking people to do your job for you for free! Frankly, finding locations are not that hard, you can just take a look at the portfolio of all the top wedding photographers (if you don't know who they are, then I take my hat off to you) and look for where they shoot. If you can't recognise the place, I don't think anyone here will begrudge you if you link the photo and ask where it is. I think most here just feel that you aren't even putting in any effort into the job beyond imploring other people around you to supply a direct feed of ideas into your brain. Also, if Rashkae's response makes you so defensive, then perhaps you should keep in mind that clients can and will get much much harsher than that.

lol, actually I have see lot of ppl shooting wedding related event at Fort Canning Park, but there are quite lot of hidden spot there. Visit more frequent and view from different direction :)

*gasp* you mean actually put in effort? I don't think that's what TS wants to do for the people who are paying him. He would prefer you give him exact coordinates on Google maps for any and all spots that are "interesting".

I agree with Rashkae.
and what he said are cold hard truths.
as u mentioned they are your customers,i believe you are paid to do so.
so if anyone could name a few places for u,do they get part of the income?
i see your purpose of this thread is to gather all the places other photogs know to keep in your own book without even sharing what interesting places u already had.
i believe you should had already search high and low from Google but probably could not find some places unique and special so you are trying to gather from CS?
i think the very least u could do is to share your unique places first before others are even willing to share theirs.
if you can't do that, don't expect to be spoon fed.my 2 cents.

haha, i share one already, Fort Canning Park, go figure out interesting hidden spot

Is your customers paying you.
Not paying us.

Is your job to make uninteresting places, people, and things interesting.
Not our job.

Anyway, you can try shoot at Changi Airport, the whole place is air con. Can shoot from T1 to T3, toilets all over the place, they can change outfit till their hearts content. Food outlets all over the place, you don't have to worry anyone get hungry.

Don't like that ley, I shoot in airport before...

If I do wedding shoot and my client dont have any location preference whatsoever, i'd shoot it either at a hawker center or a wet market. Now that, imho is an interesting location.

Relax bro. FYI, I did go around SG & JB to spot places all the while. It's nothing wrong to share spots I guess....end of the day your creativity gonna mark ur work. I just don't understand u guys why need to be so cruel. We are in the same interest no harm to share things. Being negative u r not going to earn any. Cheers !
