Get him/her a partner....and if "it" eats the partner head up...then.....the one you have is a she.....Praying Mantis eats up its partners head.........after.........

My last set of praying mantis shots were also shot with the SB80DX as slave flash as Gary suggested... too bad I don't have another slave flash..

Oh... my praying mantis was a male... I read up some other pages about identifying it's organs by looking at the back.. it didn't have the 'tub'

Where do I find another praying mantis anyway?? Is there somewhere in singapore that sells praying mantis??

Most wooded areas will have, although luck play a important part as well..

Else as a last resort, go to Chinatown. There's a aquarium shop @ lvl2 of an HDB block 335, beside the food centre.. last time saw them selling the mantis & other exotics like iguana too..not sure if they are still selling. Go check it out.

I heard that the praying mantis just found its way back!!! Through the front door some more...
