Just emailed PPCONLINE for a refund. Still haven't got any email reply from them and I can stand being kept waiting in the dark.

Recommended a friend to buy a reverse adapter ring from them (for KM mount) and apparently the one he received was not correct. The mount seems to be for some older KM cams. Now my friend is cursing me because the store keep insisting that it's correct and has since refused a refund, but wanted him to change with another item instead. They also informed my friend that they are checking with the supplier but till today, no news :(
 

Well ... at least he got something ... and the replies from them. But me ... I don't know what happening ... at least this guy Parker managed to relay a message from them. I don't wanna bug them anymore and move on (planning to get the stuff somewhere elase) and so just the request for refund.

... not sure how he is associated to PPCPONLINE but from the message I got from him (of which I am grateful), he is just relaying that email was sent (which I didn't received). So i think it's better for me to assume that he is not (or rather not assume anything) even though he is doing massive advertising work for them.

Ordered a reverse mount ring and gaffer tape from them a month back, but in the end, the gaffer tape didn't arrived but they refunded me my money.

As for the mounting ring, the wrong thread size was delivered. Its rather weird as the ring circumference is exactly the the same size at the tread on my lens. So it can't be screwed on. Just like how a 52mm filter would be slightly smaller so that it can be screwed onto the lens.

Still in the midst of doing my returns, will post here again once I get my reply.
 

Finally got their email replies and hoping to receive the stuff soon.

ordered eyecup and gaffer tapes sometime in february. received my eyecup quite fast. but gaffer tapes were pre-ordered. Waited for like more than a mth for the item to arrive. Emailed them but no answer for weeks. I only found out abt refund when i log in CS. Bad bad service recently. Its quite sad actually. :nono:

i bought from them once also no issue but that was when parkertr still quite active here.
Now not sure how's he doing but should be still operating from his home?
 

I have ordered the gaffar tape, after more than a month plus, they emailed me saying no stock so just refunded me. But still own me the cleaning tissue. They mentioned already posted to me about 2 weeks ago... but nothing yet. Emailed them, waiting for reply.

Should we have a collated number of people who have ordered and have yet heard from them? Then we can have a better picture what is going on.

Hi guys, on behalf of all the guys at PPCP Online and after I've pretty much read and digested this thread, I know that Deva has closed his case with PPCP - perhaps he might wanna update us about that. As with any store, I guess, they receive good and bad reviews... Cathay, TK, Lords, MS... you get the good and the bad... the truth is, these guys are all working their best to serve their customers - unfortunately, they're not perfect and sometimes, a few of us are unfortunately the ones who receive the black end of the barbequed corn and it is discouraging. It is comforting however, to know that there have been hundreds of others who have gotten the larger, better end of the barbequed corn - maybe your turn will be next if you're willing to have another go at the barbeque.

To clear things up about my involvement and association with PPCP Online. I pretty much started the whole PPCP thing back when I was in Singapore (a few years back) and since I left for my studies, it has been handled by 2 partners who now have a stake in PPCP Online. They have contributed to much of the upgrades including the spanking new website. PPCP Online also had a worker, who was at the helpdesk who recently had to quit as he has moved overseas for studies as well. They're certainly not the best at PR and I will be back in Singapore from the middle of May to run it again (hope that's good news!) and possibly buy back the company :P to have it fully run by my family instead of them, with better service.

I thank the many loyal customers of PPCP Online for their invaluable contributions of support as well as timely advice that has come from time to time - I believe that PPCP Online wouldn't be where it is now if not for you.

Just ordered some stuff, will update if the thread is open then. I think most online shops here have a reputation to uphold, no point trying to cheat one or two cases, because eventually people will just run. Trust is important! =)
 

cheerz night86mare :) most orders go thru clean just that no one bothers to bat an eyelid to comment on the service.

In my personal experience... when you've done something right and ppl dont say anything - its GOOD. When you've done something and ppl complain... something's wrong. But when you've done sth and ppl praise - that's a bonus. haha
 

I am one of those who eaten the good corn, upz for good service from ppcp! :)
