if your take a image of something dark (such that it occupies most of the frame) at ISO 3200 RAW, upload into DPP, push the sharpness to +10, view at 100% or 200%, do you see any concentric banding?

- just realized that this is due to correction of barrel distortion. RAW also corrected for barrel distortion in DPP automatically.

In video mode, is there a button to press that can just "pause" the video? ...And pressing it again to continue taking video..

Remember the spec says 220 shots.

that leather case isnt made with real leather. rather some other material that scratches way too easily. plus it does not fit the s90 properly. it is slightly too big for the s90. and after i bought it, i didnt use it much because i think it creates a lot more unnecessary bulk to the camera. defeats the purpose of buying the s90 because of its small size in the first place. the detachable flap is also irritating. not worth the cost i think.

Anyone with the custom grip owns the leather case as well? Wonder if it fits better then, since the case was mentioned as slightly bigger than the S90.

And also, what aspect ratio does the S90 have? Can't find nothing much on that. I'm an addict to 6:6 btw

i think u can slip the cam into the pocket and walk around... i mean, that's what the slim profile of the cam is for..

but if u must, i think any hard case that can protect the camera from knocks should suffice. i got mine from taiwan.. some normal casing with zip. it's with my mum in france now so i cannot show u a photo of it.

The canon pouch with the velcro right?

if that's the case, change your wrist strap. it'll fray when stuck to the spiky end of the velcro.. so either change the wriststrap, or change the case if u don't want a frayed wriststrap! :bsmilie:

Great cam, great pics, and bonus ergonomics when coupled with the Richard Franiec grip! It takes more photos than my DSLR..
