And also, i'm interested in getting the grip, is it on sale in Singapore, or i have to ship it over?

Read a few pages in front. Price usually won't drop too much within 2 - 3 month.
also someone mentioned about the grip.

How much u get it for?
The price is quite sticky in Amazon @ converted rate of SGD560. Was thinking if I shld get it in HKG, or during IT fair?

I just sold my Canon system and waiting for this! =D

Alan Photo in SLS is very reliable. No problems with their pricing at all. Some may complain abt their service level though. But if you know what you are going to buy, they won't chop you. Just make sure you look and sound like a Singaporean. :bsmilie:

I am the TS of this thread. However, ironically i have sold my s90. lol.

OT a bit...sorry. Wow thats kind of fast. Tho if you sold it off to fund something else which is higher priority, I can understand that.

And also regarding the Franiec custom grip I posted in the first one or two pages of this thread, I may or may not get it in the end, currently kinda undecided...so probably not doing any MO for now...but if anyone is interested in starting an MO for the grip he or she is welcome to do so.

And strangly, i asked some other chops at lvl 2. Was quote $620 before gst, which means, around $663.

So Alan photo is more expensive??

Gonna try Cathy Photo soon, if good price then get it then.

Was at SLR Revo the other day to buy a camera for our office. Was given the price of $620 (w/ GST) for the S90. John 3:16 is selling it at $680 I think...

One of the shop in HongKong is fetching @ $660. Anyone has ideas where to get cameras from hongkong?
Amazon sells the cheapest right now @ 560.

Since it is recommended not to buy at It FAIR, for me, it will be either SLR Revo, or Hong Kong.

As for HK, check the sticky thread in consumer corner.
Can convert to a 6 month international warranty, bring it in person to Canon HK to do if not wrong.

In Penang, Malaysia, is selling at about RM1490 = SGD627 (1SGD=RM2.38)

From SLR, $660, 8gb card (Class 6) And case.

Kinda good price from all the shops i asked nearby.

And for the grip, can someone do a MO? I want to get it for sure. Or anyone know where to get it in Singapore. Thanks!

I think the grip will not fit in to my S90 leather case. I love the leather case, so maybe grip, give it a miss la..

hi, when using manual mode in dslr.. We set aperture n shutter speed, flash output is automatic set by the camera..
But i tried this method in s90.. The flash is not auto compensated like dslr would.. Is my s90 faulty.. Or s90 dnt hv this function.. Hope u can kindly advise.. Thks..
