Not counting the old Panasonic 256MB SD in my xphone, I now only have one, a 2GB 120x Kingston Ultimate SD Card which I bought for $105. This should be sufficient for the time being.

I sold the Kingston 512MB SD that came free with the S3 for $20. I feel it is insufficient and I don't need another card now. In 6 mths' time, when I need a second card, $20 will probably get you double the capacity. I sold the 1GB SD (for which I paid more than $110 to Dell in Dec 2005 for my x51v) for $50 primarily because it is a Sandisk. I think this brand is overpriced. Speed is slow and warranty is only 5 years for the standard range.

I also sold my Canon V3, SI IS and related accessories, including underwater case and CF cards. A total makeover of sorts. The only thing I did not sell was my 2GB Lexar Professional CF Card which I am now using for my x51v, which explains why I sold my Sandisk 1GB SD!

definitly can.. My S1 can i dun see why the S3 cant..

From what I've read, the S3 is not much of an improvement over the S2 besides the 6 MP & 12 x zoom upgrade! But the price is so cheap as compared to the S2 when it got launched.

Can anybody let me know if I should wait for a future S4????

ok good.
asking becos my A80 cannot zoom while recording video.

now i think my A80 is spoiling.
lines fill up the LCD screen instead of the picture that i will be taking.
still can use the view finder to take picture.
video cannot record anymore as only lines appear.

not sure whether any of you experience what i'm having now.

If you already have the S2, then the upgrade is not that important. But if you do not already have the S2, then there is no reason to wait. If you want to wait, it is neverending. If not S4, why not wait for S5 and so on?

Bring to Canon service centre at Harbourfront. It is likely due to CCD error and they will repair it free of charge.

no more warranty still free of charge?

Yup. If CCD error, it is manufacturer's defect. Many of us have already got our cameras repaired. FOC. There is actually a Canon press release on this. Check at www.dpreview.com

I still cannot post attachments. Maybe there is no such feature? So, I am using photobucket.com. So here goes ...

Picture of Canon 7-in-1 Nylon Camera case. Comes with mini-tripod and cleaning kit

This is one of the first few pictures taken. I was lying down in bed, playing with the camera, when my toes came into the picture. I zoomed in and took the picture. Auto setting.
