Last night the moon was really round and bright.

Any one can try shooting the moon with the S3?

I know no fight with SLR, but just wanna see what is possible with the S3 on moon shots.

Nope, it will take three shots all by itself. Best to use a tripod.

eh... i still end up with only 1 shot? is there any other settings that i need to include?

hm... ok, seems like i manage to get 3 shots only when i use AEB (is it exposure?)... but only 1 shot when i use Focus-BKT...

Sorry! You need to use manual focusing. Forgot to mention this.

btw, on a different note, is there any function on the s3 that allows me to take a few shots continuously with flash on? (with a single press of the shutter)

Just set to continuous shooting and flip up your flash.

My S3 is ok, no such prob woh. Did you check the manual if you can adjust the colour of the EVF and LCD?

adjusted the brightness of the EVF and the prob is Gone....:vhappy:

You can, however, the flash charge rate will depend on your batts. I normally set to low speed continous, with a lowered falsh output.

Not that I know of. as refreshing of flash is not so fast.

I read in some S3 review some where that with flash continuous function, it works, but out of a few shots, one will be very dark......It definitely depends on the Batt status.

hm... ok... i cant seem to get it. set to bracketing, then set shooting to continuous right? any other settings? the cam just takes 1 shot and thats it.

btw, any tips on how you all decide when to use Tv mode and when to use Av mode?

for taking fireworks, i did some testing on fireworks mode, it seems like its just F8, shutter speed 2sec, no info on ISO. is it recommended to use manual settings instead? if so, other than F8, long shutter speed (is 3-4sec ok?), any other settings (like ISO/exposure)? hm, or maybe i got it all wrong above, and you have a better setting that is tried and tested? kindly advise! thanks!

zh2908, for fireworks, it is recommended that you use the lowest ISO as the fireworks are very bright.
