Here is my situation:

- Used SANYO 2500 mAh - exchanged all 8 that I have due to rapid self-discharge. (am using the 8 replaced ones now - so far so good)
- Used POWEREX 2500 mAh - also exchanged all 8 that I have due to rapid self-discharge at Eastgear, which they upgraded to 2700 mAh for me. :) Happy! (am using the 8 replaced ones now - so far so good)
- Am still using my 4 pcs. of KONNOC 2500 mAh. - no problems at all.

To me, KONNOC seems to be the best performing so far.

ya loor. That's why have not switched to enelpope yet.

check your charger - not all chargers can charge higher capacity batteries properly.
read the charger's manual. nowadays, especially with the 2700mAh batteries, most chargers are still stuck at 2300 or 2500!

Get those 15 min quick charger loor. Sure can.

Bro, as I mentioned in some of my posts... I bought bought both brands with same capacity which is 2500mAh. So if my Sanyo is working fine, dun see the reason why Powerex failed me.

IIRC, its only take longer time to charge 2700mAH battery.

For more info on Battery Charger,

http://www.shashinki.com/review/resources/batterycharger/index.htm

In general, battery chargers can be grouped into two:

1. Timer based Charger
2. Smart / Intelligent Charger

Time based Charger:

Non-voltage/resistance detector

~ the charger will continuously pumping in current into the batteries for a preset duration of time. Eg. 8 hours for most timer based charger.

~ If the power current to the charger has been cut off during charging, the charger will start counting its time/duration again from the beginning.

~ Timer based charger is meant for a specific capacity of battery. If you use a timer based charger to charge a battery that is larger capacity than what it is original designed for, then you will not get full charge.

(eg. If the charger is meant for 2000mAh batteries, then you will not be able to charge a 2500mAh batteries full with the charger, unless you overcharge it by doubling the time/duration of charging)

IIRC, its only take longer time to charge 2700mAH battery.
