Bros... I bought 4 * Powerex 2500 n 4 * Sanyo 2500 at the same time ard June last year. Charged them within the same day but after a week my Powerex completely cannot power up my camera but when swtich to Sanyo. No problem so I guess the Powerex spoilt liao... Can anyone advice me if there any warranty for Powerex? I bought fr Eastgear, where can I change my faulty batteries if have warranty? Thanks.

Am also experiencing rapid discharge with Powerex....which was fine initially....real pain when used with Compactdrive, as the pwer is not reliable...need constant chanrging....:thumbsd: :thumbsd: :thumbsd:

Bring them back to Eastgear to confirm.

they need receipt one, me usually loose receipts for low value items very soon...
I also have same problem but new 2700s are way better for self-discharging.

My powerex 2700 still working fine but my Konnoc 2500mAh just cant hold charge after few month, maybe I charge during china trip hv a short circuit from Electricity made in China.:bsmilie:

my experience was exact opposite, but mine was both 2500mAh.
:dunno: my konnoc seems to discharge much slower than powerex.

I got reciept which dated on May last year... Looks like will drop by EG this wkend... But how do they check? Do I need to fully charged the batt 1st? Anyone have experience with changing defective batts with EG?

Btw... Thanks guys for the constructive comments....

Upzz for awareness.....do update this thread, guys ....so, it may not be a brand issue afterall if other makes are also having discharge issues

SANYO may not be the only victim  ...... We are pushing the rechargeable batts too much ? technical issue ? ....... haiiz

Bro... I not heavy user leh... The most I charged or use is the most twice a month cos I onli take photo once a while during weekends when go outing if not is juz take my cat if she got some funny post... I rotate with Sanyo batts... Sometimes when I charged both of them on the same day... When I wanna use my camera, the Powerex batt totally flat but when I switched to Sanyo no pro still can tahan a few days...

I also felt that the Powerex 2500 doesn't hold it's charge very well after i got them n made a comparison with my exchanges Sanyo 2500s batts.

Thot I was being over sensitive. Guess I was right all these while.

I'm also not a heavy user, thus, when I need to use the batts, it's very frustrating to find out that the batts r all flat / doesn't last for the day ...

switch to eneloop....

Wanted to ... but the price of the Eneloop is stopping me ...

just to add, im waiting for my batt to die on me, before i go get some eneloop :sweatsm:

Bro... I noe Eneloop can store charges but as you can see I onli bought my Powerex last May... Normal recharge batt should also hold charges for at least a week or at least half the charge but mine is completely dead. So the least I should do is ask for an exchange if possible rite?

i'm also having the discharge problems with my powerex 2500. Have identified 2 batts (out of 8) that are problematic by using a volt meter.

23 May 06, still have receipt. Very lightly used, I don't think I've charged more than 20 times since I have so many batts:bsmilie:
