Really nice stuff, Oshkosh.

I love how you implemented the noise in these photos. Film simulation plug in? Or texture mask? Surely not from the built in photoshop 'noise' or 'grain' filters?

No.6 is mind bogglingly good. Perfect caption and concept that reawakens the bittersweet feelings of a young broken heart.

Thanks electron. Well, I uses the "built in" photoshop noise. The key I think, is to be able to visualise how much noise is required to make the pic stand out, so the intensity differs from pic to pic.

I love #6 too. Seriously. Was debating if I shld cover the eyes... it becomes a pretty "dark" theme with the eyes covered but thought it was necessary to make the pic interesting and for it not to look so "dark" I added caption in the pic. Took awhile too to decide how best to place the position of the caption. I love the end product.

:bsmilie: Just goes to show what you can do with a good eye.

Thanks for detailing your thought process. Definitely giving me some insights and ideas. Looking at the photo again it's both inspired and inspirational. Favourited in Flickr

Don't care if critics ever jump in line
I'm gonna give all my secrets away"

I like #5 and #10. They're the kind of photos which can leave an emotional impact in the viewer.

Nice set man.
