Posting your picture from flickr

Not very sure why the previous one written by fellow bro was missing, I shall start to contribute to this community. ;p

To link your picture from your flickr photo stream,

1. Go to your flickr photostream
2. Select your Desired Picture
3. Go to "share this" **The user interface of flickr has changed a little. Instead of " Share This" it is now a drop down box with facebook icon on the left.**

4. Select "Grab the HTML/BBcode"

5. Select BB Code and the desired size

6. Copy and paste the code to your thread

Alternatively you can: This method works with other picture hosting site too.

1. Go to actions > view all sizes

2. Select the required size
3. right click on the picture > Copy image URL

4. Insert your image using insert image tool

or using image bbcode like this [#img]YOUR-IMAGE-URL[#/img] (** remove the # sign**)

Hi.. Which image hosting site are u using?

The user interface of flickr has changed a little. Instead of " Share This" it is now a drop down box with facebook icon on the left. From the drop down box,

1. Choose Grab HTML/BBcode
2. Select BBcode and desired size
3. Copy and paste the code here and you should get the picture posted.

when i copy >image address(Flickr) & > insert image(in CS)>from URL>paste>"Retrieve remote file and reference locally",.... uncheck this box

there is no limited of how many images you can post in a thread,
but each post only allow 5 images, that including emotion icons.

please be selective of photos which you want to share, more photos on a same subject will have less impact.

Erm. I tried to do it but the system response with I'm not allowed to post links unless my account is 30 days old or user has post more than 50 posts. :cry: HELP~

well, you have to wait until "account is 30 days old or user has post more than 50 posts". ;p

you can engage some meaningful discussion in any other sections except kopitiam to accumulate the post counts needed.

Problem solved!

I can't use the BBS code method. so in the end, the "view all sizes" then "copy image URL" works!
Now I'm finally able to get some comments on my photos!
