Continued from my earlier post...... For fine dining and wining, I love Grill on Devonshire. It's at Devonshire Road. No service charge, no GST and no "relevant garmen taxes". Fantastic food and wine!! :thumbsup:
 

Lavender Food Court - Kok Kee Wantan Mee $3/plate
Parkway Hawker Centre - Wan Tan Mee $2/plate

Best in SG!

hmm...the food upstairs of far east is darn cheap...and good man...for some stalls tt is...in one stall(dont know the name again)...the slice fish claypot rice is superb...

oh btw...anyone eaten at nooch? it's quite ok..the price isnt very ex also..bout 6-8 per bowl of noodle...ranging frm viet noodle to local delights to blah blah blah...(actually most of the asian noodles)

there was a chicken rice stall at far east which was quite good oso.. but i think it has moved on oredi.. no longer there the last time i went.. :(
 

hougang south interchange, 1st coffee shop off NTUC....
Served the best beef kway teo I ever eaten.
There normally a long queue at lunch time.... always sold out around 2 or 3 pm

before the coffeeshop was renovated...i think early 90s? there was this prata store there....anybody knows where it moved to? i miss the prata...:cry:

golden mile or is it golden shoe nasi lemak best value for $$

ang mo kio opp mrt S11 foodcourt the western fd is very gd too ;)

chinatown's porridge near the roadside (near wet market) $2.5 proddy that is gd! 60cents for you tiao and they have frog legs which seem to be very popular

It's behind the Singtel at Killiney Road. There's a BP petrol kiosk there so you can't miss it.

btw .. anybody tried Lawry ?? is the food there nice ?? wonder is it value for $$ or not .. lagi ex ahhh ..

For the price you pay there the food has to be good!!! And it is good. And it has to be "The Lawry's Cut" or "The Diamond Jim Brady Cut". ;)
