Post your 'Before' & 'After' Post Processing pictures

My turn...

This was taken few years back. Lucky took the photo using RAW.
Post processing wise, I increase the exposure and make use of the gradient tools.

Photograph provided by GrBenji, composition was off as it was a test shot.
Objective: To remove the magenta cast created by the Hitech 4-stop GND filter.

Note that the reflection of the machine is created using a yellow gradient fill and masking which is a wrong decision.

Hey guys. Don't mind the model's 'chopped' hand. I'm just doing this for fun. :)

this is just b/w conversion... i dun see u playing with the tonality in the photo when converted to b/w, i believe everyone can also do this :p

Tried my best to adjust the perspective & colors, not easy task.
To Experts/Seniors, kindly comment the pp. Thanks!

Definitely it can be just a simple B&W conversion and anyone can do it. But what I did was to improve the contrast and 'depth' of the clouds from the models. Both background and model are adjusted differently. As you can see the 1st pic is very flat and in the wrong WB. To directly convert to B&W, the model's skin would be darker, less details in the clouds and the foreground will be just flat. I know B&W is very subjective and hard to master. I'm still learning.

To enhance this in colour, well .. I just don't like the end result thts why I decided to do a b&w for this. (I can't find the emoticon icon!!)

Like it or not, I think post processing is very important to make the picture look nicer. However, it is not just about how to use the tools in the software, but also ideas in presenting the mode you want it to be. Like many other newbies, I know how to use some of the basic tools in photoshop but I hope to learn more. I think it’ll be good to learn from the experts here & get to see the pictures ‘before’ & ‘after’ the PP (Although some only believed in showing the best). Anyone willing to share? To kick start, I will post the 1st picture & hope to see more…

Your "after"in not bad of course but bro in my view u should make the boat is floating on the water, it seems the boat is above some kind of plain surface,it's ok u removed the dirts but your background needs some watery effect such as waves, the splashes.
