Post processing

Hi, I'm a new bird in photography. I understand that post processing is important. Is there any free software that can be downloaded from the web ? Or, is the CD software that comes with my 550D sufficient ??

freeware for amateur photographers

besides.. use whichever program best suited to ur preferences, as long as it gets the job done

GIMP is a good substitute to photoshop, though probably not as intuitive.
