Thanks for dropping by fellows.

I think this shot really demonstrate the full power of a fast prime on fullframe. Well done!

Do you have any shots with an 85 1.4?

You are getting really great results with your 50mm. You can also try the 50 1.2 AIS.

Yes I heard some good points abt this lens and it's bokeh. And I also read that corners are a bit soft. (softer than 1.4 & 1.8)
Do u hv it now or u used it b4?

A refreshing thread to see people doing something meaningful instead of wasting money on XMM shoots.

Your wife pose better than most of those half squatting, lips puckering XMMs.

You shoot well too.

For portraits the corners are not so important so it is not an issue for me. The 50 1.2 is more than sharp enough. It is good that you are using your 50mm well. Better to shoot more with what you have than to collect more lenses like me.

I guess u hv some classic lenses like this and a few Zeiss? :)

Ha ha. I have no lack of lenses. What I lack is your drive to go out and get shots even in the rain.

you are blessed with a dedicated wife who loves you and supports your passion . She is beautiful, too

Nice work! I wished my other half would pose for me outdoor too.
Your wife looks very natural, did she had previous experience in photoshoot prior to these?

Thanks JiexS for ur comment and dropping by.
Nope, she has no experience at all. We just try ourselves (trial&error) :)

Nice light on your wife. But just curious, are you using on-camera flashgun? If you can cast a bit of (fill) light on your wife's legs (using a remoted flash), she will pop out of the foliage.

A trick some makeup artists use, is to apply foundation powder (or light-bouncing loose powder) not just on the face (where it is usually applied), but also to the neck and other exposed parts. Skin tone will be even

Thks for ur comment Shizuma :)
and nope, i didn't use any flash at all for all photos u see here so far.
Dodge/burn were applied on e face and so on in PP.

i like #4 the best, but prefer the lighting to be less harsh and more understated, to go with the more pensive mood of the photo.
