I got mine on wed at around that price. I should have get the extra battery as they gave me $5 discount for the bat.

Haha, I just collected my battery grip (Alan). Actually I got a few calls from different shops so I guess the grip is in limited quantity back in stock at least at a few places. I got everything for now. :-P

PS: Glad I have the grip. With my heavier lenses it's much more comfortable.

Nope. I just bought my OMD with it on the spot.

:-) When MS had no stock they told me I should buy the set and grip somewhere else coz their waiting list is too long (apparently 50+). :-D I think they're not really interested in offering a good service anymore. Stores like Cathay, Alan, TK and John are more reliable.

I bot from artwork photo yesterday. They still had a couple of sets left at lunch time. $385 cash so not the cheapest but at least got stock.

I wasn't planning to buy the grip, but the balance is so much better when paired with the bigger lenses.

The grip is the way to go! Forget those gimmicky half cases. lol

Checked out the grip when I collected the 75-300mm Oly lens. Seemed kinda weird. Too big. If I wanted something bigger, I would just use the DLSR. The m/43 is really a portable solution. Of course, the ability to add a grip is a welcomed option, but not for me.

Adding the grip raises the size of the setup to that of a Nikon D5100. But I kinda like the idea of being about to flip about easily.

For me m43 is more about carrying a backpack of lenses with ease. The body needs to be still comfortable for me so I don't mind adding 2cm to the height.

HK may be cheaper but another CSer just reported that he visited over 20 shops and all out of stock...
