Yes, I want the grip. Not the battery part very often, but the grip part I think will be great. I am going to have this camera a long time I think so for me it will be worth it.

No.. Uk price is far higher, grip price already built in..

Just got my OMD. Very nice, but I want the grip for better usability with heavy lenses.

Any idea if third-party grips tend to appear at more affordable prices?

Yesterday I was telling myself that I do not need the grip but today I bought it after touching it in the shop, wtf. Considering the half case already cost $150, it is more worth getting the grip as protection.

Yup I'm thinking the same thing when I bought the grip yesterday more worth it than the half case . It also made me think I chose the right color for the body - black which looks awosome with the grip. Then again the grip is almost the same price as Oly 45mm f1.8 which I'm also tempted to buy.

Jialat... recently tried to take some sports photography for my department basketball and I realize I would really dig that portrait grip.

My hands were so sore from holding the regular grip vertically.

Sigh. Asked my colleague currently in Hong Kong to help me look for the HLD-6 and a Wotancraft bag.

SLRR just told me they got the info from Olympus the next shipment will arrive in June or July and Olympus will adjust the price upwards coz it's selling too well. somehow I can't believe that. I hope they just have a good sense of humor otherwise they might "adjust" a few more prices.
