Polaroid photo jammed... help?

The mister got me a Polaroid One Step AutoFocus recently, and I tried it the first time today. Loaded it, the green light comes on, but after pressing the shutter and the flash goes off, but the photo's not ejected

Help please?

Does it have to do with the part where the film cover's supposed to be ejected after loading the cartridge? Is the film cover that black thingy rolled up in the film exit slot?

If it helps, the film's not expired; expiry's in Apr.

once u have loaded the film pack, the film protector which is the black piece will automatically come out. if it doesnt come out, try to open the mouth to see if its in place and close again.

Thanks for the help I opened the door and literally yanked the film cover out. It ejected a blank Polaroid thereafter, but all's well since then. Thanks!

u can try to oil the wheel where the film pops out as it can be a bit stiff
