Hello,
Next Sunday, 4th Nov, we are going on a local day trek.

This is an interesting trail for photographers with abandoned railways and train station, tunnels, graffiti, sunsets and erm... drains, which maybe thru the lens of a good photographer, even drains can look very beautiful...
So if you are interested to join us for this dirty hike, please take necessary precautions to protect your cameras and other expensive equipments from rain, mud and mosquitoes. Actually, please don't bring too many, we will be doing many climb ups and climb downs, stopping at intervals to rest and eat snacks, take some photos and take a quick nap, so by the time you set up the tripod maybe we are leaving already.
So, hope see you soon, good to have more photographers in our adventure club!
And we are also having a Dragonboat Orientation soon: http://tpadventure.multiply.com/calendar/item/10100
Anyway,
------------------------------------------ the details for the trek ------------------------------------------
Tracing the abandoned railway line from Bukit Timah Road, we will be going into forested areas with overgrowth and fallen trees and thru a dark muddy Halloween bats tunnel. Then we will take a break at the railway bridge above Sunei Ulu Pandan, if we are still full of energy, we will continue on to the Long Kang Walk which will lead us back to Bukit Timah Road.
Take nothing but memories, leave nothing but footprints. Just footprints, not shoe soles, please wear durable shoes which can withstand durable mud.
Date: 4 Nov 2007, Sunday
Meet: 3pm @ King's Albert Park, Mac Donald 2nd floor, look for those wearing red t-shirts with the number 13 on them.
End: 7pm (estimated) along Bukit Timah Road
Attire: Long pants, covered shoes (with soles strongly attached), long/short sleeve shirt.
Things to bring: Minimum 1.5 litres of drinking water, motivational snacks, personal first aid kit, raingear, insect repellent, extra clothes & slippers to go home in. Waterproof your belongings!
People to bring: Whoever you like. Or hate
This hike is opened to public but it is quite dirty, muddy, difficult and tiring to walk. Bring anyone as long as they don't whine loudly, they can whine and walk at the same time and you can take care of them if they can't take care of themselves. Please don't bring pets and small children or we will eat them as motivational snacks.
Contact Poh Kiat: if there is anything you want to clarify or you have problems and you have nobody to talk to. Here's his email pocket_tisu@yahoo.com.sg
